“We are the largest democracy of the world. What kind of sloganeering do you resort to daily? No solution to a problem can be found through sloganeering. Come and sit in your seat. I will give you ample time on every issue. I urge you to maintain decorum of Parliament. Bringing placards daily is not in accordance with parliamentary traditions. I have requested you on earlier occasions also. All of you are senior members, maintain decorum of Parliament,” he further said.

“Don’t you want to run the House? Do you not want to run Question Hour? Don’t you want to have a discussion on serious issues?” Birla asked the protesting members, before adjourning the House till 2 pm.
